Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Chantilly, VA, is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team. You will triage, treat, monitor, and support patients and their families in a high-stakes environment, collaborating with doctors and a dedicated VEG team.

You must be credentialed with a veterinary technician license, have 1+ year of experience, and be prepared for nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a veterinary technician, with emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVLT) in the practice state is required; VTS in ECC or anesthesia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from triage to discharge in emergency settings.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Perform treatments, administer meds, monitor patient status, and support pet parents.
