Job summary

In Field Strategies seeks qualified candidates to serve as Customer Service Support staff at CRCs across Central and Northern California. Roles are temporary and based on peak fire seasons, with 8-hour shifts and 1–10 day assignments.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, enforcing safety rules, and providing information on resources. Candidates should be 18+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, and possess 1+ year customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ year experience in a customer service role with in-person contact.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Must own smartphone.
• Ability to use mobile and web-based apps or reporting tools.
• Ability to follow directions, resolve conflicts and stay professional.
• Ability to follow and enforce procedures and policies.
• Flexible schedules, extended hours, nights and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations.
• Ability to report to work on short notice (24–48 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet CRC visitors, address inquiries and hand out supplies.
• Assist in enforcing safety and ADA guidelines and procedures.
• Support CRC setup, including signage and supplies.
• Record visitor attendance and inventory accurately.
• Support to Customer Service Lead (CSL).
• Provide information to visitors about available resources.
