Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification in APCO, IAHSS or related certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Emergency and Non-Emergency Dispatch
• Answer, evaluate, prioritize, and dispatch emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance to Police and Public Safety Officers
• Communications Monitoring
• Monitor and process calls from multiple lines and alarms
• Security Systems Monitoring and Emergency Response
• Monitor alarms, access control, and CCTV; stay calm during incidents
• Public Safety Support
• May perform Public Safety Officer duties when assigned
• Performs other related duties as required
