Responsibilities

• Dispatches emergency and non-emergency public service personnel.
• Receives requests for public service assistance.
• Answers incoming telephone calls.
• Maintains communication with other governmental agencies.
• Completes reports and data entry.
• Updates and retrieves data in city systems.
• Monitors weather and activates civil defense sirens when necessary.
• Trains others as required.
