Job summary

The City of Dublin is seeking dedicated Emergency Communications professionals to join the Northwest Regional Emergency Communications Center. This role handles 9-1-1 and non-emergency dispatch, coordinating with police, fire, and medical responders in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must complete the NTN written exam and pass a panel interview. The position requires shift work, strong communication skills, and adherence to core values including integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
• LEADS and NCIC certification required eventually.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-channel radio system to dispatch resources for law enforcement, fire, and medical emergencies.
• Process 9-1-1, text-to-9-1-1, TDD and non-emergency calls and route to appropriate units.
• Coordinate with other dispatch organizations and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Maintain performance with a primary focus on safety, accuracy and timeliness.
