Job summary

The City of Dublin seeks qualified lateral 911 Dispatchers/Communications Technicians to join the Northwest Regional Emergency Communications Center (NRECC). The role handles radio dispatch, 911 and non-emergency calls, and data management to support public safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some dispatch experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Completion of selection process including background checks and polygraph.
• Ability to obtain LEADS and NCIC certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a multi-channel radio system to dispatch resources for law enforcement, fire, medical and other emergencies.
• Operate a multi-line phone system for 9-1-1, text-to-9-1-1 and non-emergency calls.
• Maintain communications with callers and responders during emergencies.
• Coordinate with other dispatch organizations to determine status of resources.
• Record and manage incident information and CAD data.
