Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CAD experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain LEADS/NCIC certification and work flexible hours.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required; 18+.

Responsibilities

• Operate a multi-channel radio system to dispatch requests for law enforcement, fire, medical, and other emergencies.
• Operate a multi-line phone system for 9-1-1, text-to-9-1-1, TDD, and non-emergency calls; dispatch resources accordingly.
• Use CAD and multiple monitors to verify locations, prioritize incidents, and track units with minimal supervision.
• Obtain essential information to identify type and priority of emergencies; provide pre-arrival guidance when needed.
• Maintain communication with callers and responders during life-threatening situations; ensure responder safety.
• Coordinate with other dispatch organizations to share resource status and responses.
