Job summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Communications Officer to receive and document calls for service and to dispatch officers across the organization. The role includes monitoring alarms, cameras and access doors, and coordinating with outside agencies as needed.

The position requires one year of related experience, high school diploma or equivalent, NCIC certification (within 6 months), and a valid South Carolina driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and write English fluently and follow both written and oral directions.
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; NCIC certification within 6 months of hire.
• Requires NCIC certification and valid SC driver license; background check as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Answers emergent and non-emergent calls for service.
• Prioritizes and dispatches appropriate personnel to calls for service.
• Monitors cameras, access control doors and alarms and uses CAD/IR systems.
