Corewell Health is seeking an Acute Care Hospital Registrar 1 in Troy to support the Emergency Center by handling patient registration, demographics, insurance data, and initial financial screening using EPIC. The role is part-time with a 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

shift and every-other weekend rotation, plus orientation in the first week. You will greet patients, verify information, collect payments, and coordinate with Financial Advisors while ensuring compliant, patient-focused service and accurate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or health care industry.
• Must be 18 years of age to co-sign hospital documents.
• Proficient in medical terminology and typing (30 wpm).

Responsibilities

• Register patients and admit types via EPIC; collect demographic and financial data.
• Perform registration and financial functions with accurate documentation.
• Verify insurance and process referrals; assist with authorization requirements.
• Provide patient wayfinding and excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and hospital policies.
