Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting in Chicago. You will support RNs, assist with assessments, vital signs, and routine tasks while maintaining a clean, safe environment and adhering to hospital policies.

As part of the nursing team, you will participate in care coordination, patient transport, and basic procedures, ensuring timely communication and compassionate service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with current CNA certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates empathy and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Draws blood specimens and assists with basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Maintains unit cleanliness and prepares treatment areas.
• Assists with triage, admission, transfer and discharge as directed by RN.
• Records vital signs and reports abnormalities to RN.
• Provides postmortem care and helps with transport as needed.
