Job summary

Covenant Health Plainview is seeking an Acute Care RN for Emergency Services. This onsite role requires weekend/holiday availability, night shifts (19:00–7:00), and proximity to Plainview, TX.

The RN will employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, delivering world-class service within a compassionate team. Texas RN license and AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS are required or obtained within stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently uses the nursing process to care for a group of patients.
• Provides safe, therapeutic and efficient patient care using information from multiple sources.
