Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Emergency Services Manager for the Edmond ED to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires RN licensure, a Bachelor’s in Nursing, and 3–5 years of leadership experience, with a Master’s preferred. Responsibilities include budgeting, policy development, and cross-functional collaboration within the Emergency Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's in Nursing is preferred for leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical care and department performance metrics.
• Drive quality initiatives to promote safety and reduce bias.
• Develop and update performance improvement tools and reports.
• Resolve patient concerns per policy and collaborate with staff.
• Establish and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across processes.
• Manage department budget and resources and align with financial goals.
• Lead and mentor staff, providing feedback and recognition.
• Collaborate with physicians and senior leadership to ensure quality care.
