Job summary

Sanitas is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator in Largo, FL. The role involves supporting an ER-like patient experience, handling triage, discharge instructions, and coordinating with front staff and radiology in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required: High School Diploma, 1 year of experience, and BLS certification. Proficient in English; Spanish and Creole are preferred. Travel is minimal and on-site duties with a 9am–7pm schedule, weekends 9am–4pm as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Able to work 9am–7pm weekdays and 9am–4pm weekends.
• Pass background and drug test.
• Strong ability to build relationships with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to a variety of patients (fast track, med/surg and critical care).
• Perform wound care and splinting.
• EKG monitoring and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Input discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer systems.
• Manage the patient tracking system and coordinate with team members.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
