Job summary

Corewell Health seeks an Emergency Center Nursing Assistant to support bedside care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse at our Lenox Township site. You will help with basic patient tasks, mobility, dressing, and simple procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will reinforce patient education, document care accurately, and assist with discharge under supervision. A High School diploma and BLS are required, with preferred inpatient caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months' inpatient caregiving or nursing assistant experience or related healthcare role.
• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) required by AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine bedside nursing tasks under RN supervision.
• Reinforce patient teaching and aftercare instructions.
• Assist with dressing, catheterizations, wound care and basic clinical procedures as directed.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records and support discharge processes.
• Maintain supplies and ensure equipment readiness in patient areas.

Education
