Job summary

Axon is seeking a Corporate Counsel based in the NYC area to join the contracts and corporate team. This role collaborates with Sales, Supply Chain, Software, Hardware, Product and IT to structure and negotiate complex transactions and build scalable contracting processes.

You will support the EMEA region, advise on transactional matters for Axon’s public safety products, review agreements, and help manage risk with playbooks and templates. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts.
• Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate high volume of contracts including SaaS, hardware and services.
• Knowledge of procurement laws and processes in EMEA (UK and EU).

Responsibilities

• Support the EMEA region sales teams and potentially other regions as demand dictates.
• Provide legal advice on transactional matters related to sale of Axon products (SaaS, hardware, services).
• Lead and review Contracts Managers’ work and enforce risk levels.
• Draft, update and maintain template contract language, risk analyses, and policies.
• Support development and implementation of contract lifecycle management system.
• Travel up to 15%.
• Collaborate with attorneys and contracts staff to mentor and learn from others.
