Job summary

Axon is seeking a Corporate Counsel in NYC to partner with Sales, IT, and product teams on complex commercial transactions. You will structure, draft, and negotiate contracts for goods, services, and SaaS, while guiding risk analyses and ensuring compliance across regions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in-house experience, JD and bar admission, and a proven ability to scale contract processes. In-office location on the East Coast is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts.
• Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume of contracts including SaaS, hardware, and services.
• Knowledge of procurement laws and processes in UK/EU.
• Must be located on the East Coast.
• Experience designing, implementing, and administering contract lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the EMEA region sales teams with potential involvement from other regions.
• Provide legal advice on transactional matters related to sales of Axon’s products and SaaS solutions.
• Structure, review, and negotiate contracts for disposition of goods, services and SaaS offerings; advise on risk analyses.
• Lead and review the Contracts Managers’ work.
• Set and enforce risk levels via approvals and knowledge base ownership.
• Draft, update, and maintain template language and policies; support contract lifecycle management system.
• Travel up to 15%.
