Job summary

Veeam is seeking a UK-based Director, Commercial Legal to lead its EMEA Commercial Legal team and support a fast-paced sales organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Legal, based in the UK, you will lead a team of four to five lawyers while remaining a hands-on contributor in complex software transactions.

Qualifications

Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 12+ years PQE.
Experience leading software/technology commercial teams.
Proven in-house or top-law-firm background in tech.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach the EMEA Commercial Legal team of 4–5 lawyers.
Negotiate and close complex software and SaaS agreements.
Provide practical legal advice balancing commercial needs.
Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, and stakeholders across regions.
Develop training and guidance for contracting processes.
Escalation point for high-risk matters.
