Job summary

Colorado Women’s Center in Longmont is seeking an EMDR trained therapist to provide evidence-based counseling to clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and related concerns. You’ll conduct assessments, develop EMDR treatment plans, and guide sessions to help clients process distressing memories.

You’ll also treat individual clients for diverse concerns. The role offers a full-time caseload with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, extensive supervision, and professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
• Active Colorado license or candidate license (LPC/LPCC, LCSW/LSW/SWC, LMFT/MFTC, PhD/PsyD/PSYC)
• Completed EMDR basic training (EMDRIA-approved or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and therapy to Colorado Women’s Center clients in person and online
• Provide consultations
• Conduct assessments
• Complete intake screenings for new clients
• Write client notes and other required documentation
• Manage client scheduling
• Attend staff and professional development meetings as scheduled
