Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/computer engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years in EMC/validation/product testing labs.
• EMC testing per IEC standards (IEC 61000, 61326, CISPR, IEC 61131-2).
• Operate EMC equipment (LISNs, CDNs, RF generators, EFT, surge generators).
• Analyze, document, and report test results in a lab.
• Develop and execute functional verification and validation test plans.
• Experience with PLC hardware/software and industrial automation systems.
• Travel anticipated <5% domestically/internationally; able to lift up to 50 lbs; valid US driver’s license; authorized to work in US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EMC/validation testing quality and reliability of Siemens products.
• Develop robust test methods, automation solutions, and lab capabilities.
• Support ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation activities and process improvement.
• Collaborate with global engineering, product development, and certification teams.
• Enhance lab efficiency with PLC-based automation and data monitoring solutions.
• Maintain schedules and ensure project alignment with client expectations.
• Deliver accurate, repeatable, high-quality test results and maintain QCA records.
• Develop and monitor Measurement Uncertainty records per procedures and accreditation.
