Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking an EMC test engineer to test, simulate, and validate EMC performance on Cisco hardware. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring up and configure hardware, and coordinate prototype allocations with the EMC lab lead.

The role requires planning EMC test cases and dates, configuring EUTs, and producing detailed test reports in line with international standards. You will work independently or in teams to perform EMC compliance testing on networking equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with EMC testing standards and lab procedures.
• Proven ability to develop and execute TAPs and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Test, simulate, and validate EMC performance for Cisco hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring up and configure hardware.
• Plan prototype allocations, EMC test cases, and testing dates with EMC lab lead.
• Configure hardware/software to exercise EUT for EMC testing.
• Write EMC test reports using in-house tools and follow global standards.
