Job summary

Quince is hiring Embroidery Machine Operators for our production facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This is a shop floor role assigned to a primary decoration method with training provided.

You will run embroidery, debossing, heat transfer, screen printing, and related tasks, meet output and quality targets, and help with setup, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting. Overtime opportunities exist, with a base pay of $25.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in garment decoration, embroidery, apparel construction, or related production environment; training is available for candidates from other backgrounds.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality in placement, registration, color, construction.
• Ability to follow SOPs consistently and flag issues proactively.
• Reliable and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Bilingual English / Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain decoration equipment (embroidery, debossing, heat transfer, screen printing, luggage printing, seamstress / sewing, and others).
• Run daily production against output and quality targets.
• Inspect finished pieces against job specs (placement, registration, color, stitch count).
• Identify and resolve defects; escalate to Lead when needed.
• Execute job changeovers using setup sheets and decoration specs.
• Perform pre-shift readiness checks, cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
• Handle first-level equipment troubleshooting.
• Log output counts, defects, and downtime in the production system in real time.
• Communicate material shortages or issues to your Lead as they happen.
• Support finishing work including trimming, folding, tagging, packing as needed.
