Job summary

Quince is hiring a Production Associate, Decoration to support the full production floor in Santa Fe Springs, CA. In this on-site role you will stage, trim, inspect, and help machine operators to keep fabrication flowing smoothly and meet daily output goals.

You will collaborate with the Production Lead, Warehouse, Shipping, and Fulfillment teams, maintaining a clean, safe workspace while adapting to priorities on a fast-paced high-volume line.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Stage and validate orders for production — confirm inventory and materials, verify work instructions and machine locations, check threads and supplies in stock, ensure order readiness for operators.
• Trim threads, backing, and excess materials from decorated goods to keep production pace with machine output.
• Inspect every decorated piece against the job ticket for placement, adhesion, color accuracy, and overall appearance.
• Pull and set aside defective or non-conforming pieces and log defect type, quantity, and job number for disposition.
• Fold, bag, tag, or poly-bag finished pieces per job ticket and customer specifications; ensure finished goods are presentation-ready for Shipping.
• Assist machine operators with loading, unloading, setup, and in-process support as needed.
• Restock machine supplies (thread, backing, transfer paper, tape, polybags) to keep production running.
• Support Warehouse + Receiving Lead with job staging, material pulls, and receiving tasks during high-volume periods.
• Assist Shipping + Fulfillment Coordinator with packing and order handoffs when finishing volume allows.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities as directed by Production Lead.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor.
