Job summary

Cap America, Inc. in Fredericktown, MO is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to oversee finished Cap Embroidery across shifts. You will inspect embroidery orders, ensure alignment with customer paperwork, and collaborate with operators and supervisors to detect issues.

You will use a heat gun to shrink foam, trim threads, and prepare garments for shipping. The role requires precise attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect flat & 3D embroidery orders, checking for mistakes that do not match customer paperwork (styles, colors, quantities, design).
• Work closely with embroidery machine operators and supervisors to identify issues.
• Use a heat gun to shrink foam.
• Pick or pull out additional foam pieces within the design.
• Trim loose threads and fix minor mistakes with a marker.
• Ensure garments are clean and neatly packaged before packaging.
• Count, sort, and package finished garments and complete orders for shipping; discard or reject garments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
