Job summary

Galls is seeking a Retail Embroidery Operator to join our Production team. You will read customer requirements, take measurements, and perform alterations and embroidery on uniforms and accessories, using embroidery machines and a heat press to apply logos and name strips.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timing, and quality while meeting production deadlines. You will work on industrial sewing machinery, handle adjustments to embroidery setups, and inspect merchandise to ensure it matches

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in alterations and embroidery is preferred.
• Industrial sewing machines experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and accurately identify the customer’s needs per the Work Instruction Document.
• Take measurements and mark garments for alterations.
• Operate a heat press safely and efficiently.
• Perform uniforms sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy.
• Operate embroidery machines and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Inspect merchandise against order specifications.
