Job summary

Illinois Tool Works Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the Embossing/Converting line on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am) in Newburyport, MA. The role involves operating embossing equipment, monitoring quality, performing changeovers, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across the production line.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience. Overtime and weekend work are required, with a shift differential where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds.
• Overtime and weekend work required 1–2 weekends per month.

Responsibilities

• Read schedule to determine timing for machine changeovers and runs.
• Operate embossing/converting machines and monitor quality.
• Thread film through rollers; adjust temperature, speed and flow.
• Record production run quantities and perform quality checks.
• Clean machine and parts between runs; material handling duties.
