Job summary

Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW ShineMark division) is seeking a Coater – Machine Operator for 3rd shift (11pm–7am) in Massachusetts. You will read schedules, operate coating machines, and perform setups, adjustments and quality checks on film products.

Responsibilities include material handling, forklift operation, and ensuring safety and compliance with SOPs. High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment and/or mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read schedule to time changes at coating machines.
• Start/stop the machine via control panel.
• Align or fasten rollers and blades with hand tools.
• Thread film through rollers; adjust temp, speed, flow.
• Monitor operation to detect defects and adjust parameters.
• Set up machines to imprint coating on film and rewind.
• Test and measure product; follow SOPs and judge pass/fail.
• Clean machines between runs; may involve confined space.
• Handle material and parts; move drums using carts or pallet jacks.
• Operate forklift.
