Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil/ Environmental/Structural Engineer for the Global Engineering Sustainability & Automation (GESA) team in Bellevue, WA.

You will research Scope 3 materials, oversee deployment, and standardize adoption across Amazon Ops sites, coordinating with design, procurement, and construction teams while engaging with external stakeholders. The role emphasizes decarbonization of Amazon Ops buildings, with opportunities to travel, influence embodied carbon

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Experience as Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or similar roles in Commercial Development and Construction.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify mechanisms to track carbon across the project lifecycle.
• Understand design/construction of mass timber, concrete, and large-span structures.
• Lead stakeholder communications to align goals and tasks for program success.
• Travel up to 50% as needed and oversee multiple deployments of complex projects.
