Amazon's Worldwide Operations Sustainability team in Bellevue, WA seeks a Sr. Sustainability Specialist within the Global Clean Fuels program.

You will own TEA/LCA models for low-carbon fuel pathways, translate technical results into investment guidance, and shape decarbonization strategy across Amazon's transportation network. You will lead TEA/LCA analyses, build scalable frameworks, and mentor analysts while aligning technical insights with executive planning to support the Climate Pledge

Responsibilities

• Own bottom-up TEA models for multiple low-carbon fuel pathways; apply learning rates and scenario analysis across key cost drivers to forecast cost trajectories and inform go/no-go investment decisions
• Conduct lifecycle carbon intensity analyses using established LCA frameworks and carbon accounting standards to guide feedstock and technology selection
• Advance TEA/LCA methodologies and build scalable analytical infrastructure and decision frameworks that grow with the program's fuel volumes, pathways, and geographic scope
• Run stage-gate reviews from scoping through pilot to scale-up decision; translate results into updated TEA/LCA projections with go/no-go recommendations
• Coordinate timelines, partner deliverables, and funding across cross-functional stakeholders
• Build scalable playbooks for technology evaluation and pilot management
• Model feedstock availability, cost curves, and sustainability across supply chains; evaluate novel feedstocks for CI impact and scalability
• Model delivered costs across geographies to inform deployment sequencing
• Advise senior leadership through written narratives and own technical inputs to annual planning
• Build repeatable mechanisms and decision tools that raise the bar across the program
• Mentor sustainability specialists and analysts; participate in hiring and promotion
