Job summary

Verkada is seeking a UI Engineer to build intuitive interfaces for embedded devices and contribute to a scalable UI framework. You will work with engineers and UX designers in a startup-like environment, delivering seamless experiences on constrained hardware while maintaining a focus on visual design and user experience.

Eligible candidates have 3+ years of UI development on embedded devices or mobile apps, strong C/C++ skills, and a passion for new products.

Qualifications

• BS or a graduate degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or science.
• 3+ years of UI development experience on embedded devices or mobile apps.
• Android development experience preferred but optional.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Strong sense of visual design and UX.
• Excited by new products and startups.
• Delivering best-in-class products and experiences rather than just features.
• Willing to work onsite five days per week.
