Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Mobile Engineer to build and maintain the mobile experience for the Alarms product on Android and iOS, with additional work on native Linux-based UIs for embedded devices. You will contribute to real-time monitoring, alerts, and incident response while collaborating across product, design, backend, and firmware teams.

Qualifications

6+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience building mobile apps for Android and iOS.
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns and performance.
Experience with APIs and asynchronous systems.
Product mindset with usability and reliability.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain features across Android and iOS mobile applications for the Alarms product.
Develop real-time user experiences for alerts, video, and system status.
Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and firmware teams.
Write clean, maintainable, and performant code across mobile platforms.
Help shape architecture and technical direction for mobile development.
Contribute to embedded / Linux UI development for hardware products.
