Job summary

Nautique Boat Company seeks a software/UX engineer to develop, prototype, test, and refine high-performance embedded boat display interfaces for surf systems, audio, ballast, lighting and navigation.

You will collaborate with industrial designers and mechanical/electrical engineers to integrate hardware and software, taking digital experiences from concept through production, with emphasis on CAN bus protocols like J1939 and NMEA 2000 and embedded graphics.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, HCI, or a related field is required.
• 2-3 years of UX design or development experience.
• Proficiency with embedded UI frameworks such as Linux, Crank Storyboard, or Qt; knowledge of UX and HMI design, embedded graphics and animation, and CAN bus protocols (J1939, NMEA 2000).

Requirements

Candidates should have proficiency with embedded UI frameworks such as Linux, Crank Storyboard, or Qt; knowledge of UX and HMI design, embedded graphics and animation, and expert-level CAN bus knowledge including J1939 and NMEA 2000 protocols.
