Job summary

TetraMem seeks an embedded software engineer to advance our in-memory computing platforms. You will develop drivers and application code for custom hardware, and collaborate with hardware/design teams to validate firmware and software stacks.

Responsibilities include debugging, test automation, and performance benchmarking using C/C++, Python, and MATLAB in a startup, global-team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong embedded programming background with C/C++ for drivers/firmware.
• Solid Python and MATLAB skills for test automation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Testing and silicon debug, including writing testing code and silicon screening.
• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software, including drivers and app code.
• Identify and document test scenarios for functional testing of embedded software.
• Contribute to testing methodology and setup including probe card, packaged chip, PCB testing.
• Analysis of signal integrity, noise, power, and other design issues.
• Record and log results, compare with expectations, and log defects.
• Reproduce and isolate issues within embedded systems with detailed docs.
• Collaborate with hardware/design teams to verify embedded features at firmware/driver level.
• Assist with product demo setup and showroom benchmarks as needed.
• Hardware development on circuit board, system and user interface.
