Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Systems Verification Engineer to design, develop, and validate software for control systems across industrial and defense-related products.

The role emphasizes SIL/HIL testing, test automation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust, reliable embedded solutions. You will work with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and C/C++, developing test plans and validation frameworks, and supporting product releases with thorough verification and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline
• 2+ years of embedded software development, verification, and validation
• Experience with SIL and HIL testing environments
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and validation
• Experience developing automated test scripts using Python/C++
• Knowledge of SDLC and V&V methodologies
• Experience with debugging and defect resolution in embedded systems
• Exposure to automotive/industrial/heavy equipment control systems

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software for control systems and electronics
• Create and execute SIL, HIL, and functional validation test cases
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts
• Verify software performance and compliance with requirements
• Analyze test results and support root cause investigations
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineering teams
• Use MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and validation
• Prepare validation reports and test procedures
• Support continuous improvement of software quality and processes
• Participate in design reviews and ensure robust verification
