Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks a Specialist to provide expert technical support for integrating, assembling, testing, and deploying advanced electronics and embedded systems. This hands-on role ensures hardware is properly configured, integrated, and validated throughout prototype development, with close collaboration across technicians, engineers, and program managers.

The Specialist will coordinate laboratory resources, prepare hardware for testing, and lead component- and system-level testing,

Qualifications

Associate's degree or technical training required; related experience accepted.
Extensive experience supporting electronics integration and testing in lab or production environments.
Experience assembling, modifying, and troubleshooting electronic hardware, cables, and connectors.
Experience reviewing, editing, and executing formal hardware test procedures.
Experience coordinating laboratory resources, personnel, equipment, and facilities for complex testing.

Responsibilities

Electronics integration: supervise assembly and integration of complex hardware and harnesses.
Test planning and execution: review plans, schedule testing, and conduct readiness reviews.
Laboratory operations: coordinate use of facilities and maintain equipment and safety standards.
Program support: collaborate with engineering teams through hardware development lifecycle and testing.
