ITW is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA to design, develop, test, and support embedded software for new hardware brings-up and existing product lines. You will work closely with hardware teams, implement drivers, and verify software with microcontroller systems.

The role requires strong problem-solving, independence across development phases, and experience with C/C++, Git, and RTOS environments. Occasional travel to support manufacturing and customers is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Software, Electrical, Computer Eng or related).
• 4+ years of embedded software development or related engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Git/Github, and RTOS environments.
• Strong hardware/software integration and system design understanding.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software for products and customers.
• Bring up embedded software on new hardware, including microcontrollers and peripherals.
• Develop and debug low-level drivers and board support software (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and document software designs and analyses.
• Validate software versions for proper hardware integration and reliability.
• Support manufacturing, field teams, or customer applications as needed.
