Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute seeks an Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer within the Applied Systems Laboratory, Systems Integration Division. You will design, implement, test, and optimize hard real-time embedded software for DoD systems, interfacing with RTOS, drivers, and hardware components.

Responsibilities include leading embedded development efforts, authoring reports, and ensuring adherence to safety and security standards, with travel 10–25% as required.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software for complex military systems using disciplined process.
• Software engineering experience with C/C++ and/or Ada.
• Experience developing real-time software.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and develop software packages to meet system requirements.
• Develop and maintain software for embedded systems.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure processes are followed.
• Prepare technical reports and final deliverables.
• Travel to project sites and sponsor facilities as needed.
