Job summary

Element Staffing Services is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer – Product Development in the Houston region to design, test, and refine embedded electronic products for industrial applications. You will work hands-on across firmware, hardware, and prototyping, with a focus on STM32 MCUs and 24V electronics.

The role emphasizes building and validating hardware and software, debugging interfaces, and contributing to robust product development from design to testing.

Qualifications

• Requires strong Embedded C programming.
• Familiarity with STM32 or ARM Cortex MCUs.
• Solid understanding of low-voltage electronics (24V and below).
• Hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and troubleshooting electronic hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded products and systems.
• Develop and maintain embedded firmware using C.
• Work with STM32 microcontrollers and ARM Cortex platforms.
• Read and interpret schematics and perform related calculations.
• Build, modify, and test electronic prototypes and products.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and system-level issues.
• Work with 4–20mA signals, RS-485, Modbus, and Ethernet communications.
• Support product development from design through testing and implementation.
