Job summary

This role combines hardware design, firmware development, and system integration in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with software, mechanical, QA, manufacturing, and service teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years in embedded systems design and firmware development.
• Experience bringing products from concept to production.
• Strong hardware/software integration and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and regulatory standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded hardware and firmware platform design for security, sensing, and self-service products.
• Define system architecture, interfaces, MCU configurations, and power distribution.
• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for MCU-based systems.
• Create schematics, select components, and perform reliability analyses.
• Coordinate prototype builds, validation testing, and design verification.
• Provide PCB layout guidance and review for manufacturability.
• Ensure cybersecurity requirements per standards (NIST, FIPS, ISO).
• Support regulatory testing and maintain technical documentation.
