Job summary

ITERRA is building a fielded defense-grade sensing system in Hatillo, Puerto Rico. This early-career seat focuses on power, RF, and embedded hardware, reporting to the CTO. You will bring up Jetson-based hardware, SDRs, LNAs, and cameras, with field deployment and hands-on testing from day one.

We seek candidates pursuing or holding a B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with bench experience, circuit fundamentals, Linux, and Python or C.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical work with boards, power, and signals.
• Circuit fundamentals, DC/AC, grounding, decoupling, and thermal awareness.
• Bench hands: oscilloscope, multimeter, bench supply, soldering.
• Embedded comfort: microcontrollers or single‑board computers; I2C/SPI/UART; Python or C.
• Linux comfort: shell, ssh, git; headless work.
• Willing to be outside; field days are part of the seat.
• US person under ITAR; on-site in Hatillo, Puerto Rico; field and outside work.

Responsibilities

• Bring-up and integration of Jetson carrier, SDR boards, LNAs, cameras.
• Power budget from source to boards; measure actual draw.
• Field support at range and troubleshooting live.
• Document wiring diagrams, pinouts, power budgets, bring-up procedures.
• Harnessing and connectors; RF cables; testing and validation.
