SCCI is seeking a System Tester to join our Scrum Team Embedded Tester to support IV&V testing for DoD weapon system software prior to fleet release. Located in Dahlgren, VA, the role requires US citizenship and an active secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, science, technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience testing a software-intensive DoD weapon system.
• Experience developing testing strategies and detailed test procedures.
• Proven problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team environments and Agile settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess requirements and develop test procedures for the Scrum Team's software products.
• Provide real-time documentation of testing methodology to ensure valid tests meet specs.
• Test and validate Gun Computer System MK 160 GWS developer builds from iteration to production.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software artifacts.
• Operate in fast-paced range/field environments and interface with government/contractor staff.
