Job summary

SCCI seeks a System Tester to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. The role applies robust manual and automated test engineering in a lab environment, coordinating with internal and external customers and end users to evaluate weapon control system functionality, safety and precision.

You will develop test strategies, write detailed procedures, and support field installations and remote testing. BS in engineering or related field and DoD weapon systems experience required, with travel possible.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, sciences, or related technical field, or equivalent hands-on weapon system experience.
• 3+ years designing, implementing and executing manual and automated tests.
• 2+ years testing software-intensive DoD weapon systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and detailed test procedures for weapon control systems.
• Design and document test methodologies for system integration and verification.
• Conduct laboratory and field test evaluations prior to formal release.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and document results.
