Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or work equivalent experience in a related engineering field.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded software, systems software, or platform software.
• 2+ years of engineering management or technical team leadership experience.
• Experience managing an engineering team in a mission-critical, fast-paced organization.
• Experience identifying and driving process improvements.
• Proven track record hiring and onboarding new team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of embedded software engineers focused on AV MCU software.
• Set technical direction, define execution priorities, and align the team on engineering outcomes.
• Drive delivery of high-quality production software that is safe, reliable, and well-architected.
• Establish and improve engineering processes including design reviews, code quality, debugging, and release readiness.
• Mentor engineers and leads, build succession plans, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate to define technical direction and product strategy while planning for scale.
