Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to define and drive software architecture for autonomous systems on embedded platforms. You will design real-time control software, lead AUTOSAR-based development, and ensure traceable requirements across system and hardware layers.

The role requires extensive experience in Embedded C/C++, RTOS, AUTOSAR Classic, and cross-team leadership, with opportunities to influence cybersecurity, functional safety, and production readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science; advanced degree preferred.
Strong expertise in embedded C/C++ development in RTOS environments.
Proven experience in software architecture and embedded/autonomy systems.
Deep knowledge of AUTOSAR (Classic preferred), including BSW and RTE.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and structured methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink) in embedded environments.
Experience with vehicle/machine networks (CAN, Ethernet).
Proficiency with development tools (GIT, debuggers, cross-compilers).
Ability to collaborate with and lead distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities
