Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, FL seeks an Embedded Software Engineer Intern to develop and maintain embedded software and desktop applications. You’ll work on drivers, state machines, multi-threaded code, and sensor emulation using C++ on Linux, with eligibility for DoD clearance.

On-site role offering exposure to critical defense programs, cross-team collaboration, and hands-on experience in embedded systems within a leading aerospace company.

Qualifications

• Must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related software discipline.
• Ability to obtain DoD Clearance
• Must be US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Develop Embedded Software including drivers, state machines, multi-threaded applications.
• Integrate complex algorithms into C++ applications.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software for both logical and mathematical solutions and for controlling tactical hardware.
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software while referencing AI in a responsible manner per policies.
• Contribute to detailed design architectures, ensuring architecture and source code alignment.
