Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando seeks an Embedded Software Engineering Manager to lead the Simulation Framework for embedded C++/Linux applications within an Agile environment. You will guide end-to-end software delivery, mentor a multidisciplinary team, and drive adherence to standards using JIRA, Git and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Lead and/or manager experience in software development.
• Embedded software design in C++ and Linux.
• Experience with end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Availability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Simulation Framework effort for embedded C++/Linux in Agile.
• Maintain and evolve simulation libraries modeling components and environments.
• Define, design, code, test, integrate, verify embedded simulation software using JIRA, Git, Confluence.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team; provide coaching, career development and performance feedback.
• Plan and coordinate software activities; ensure adherence to standards and tools.
