Garmin Ltd. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time Intern - Software Engineering. The role focuses on learning to develop software for Garmin's navigation and communication products in a team environment under supervision.

It includes exposure to GNSS and INS positioning concepts and hands-on training in embedded software. Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/EE/CE degrees with strong academics and familiarity with C, C++, and scripting for analysis.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent academics (GPA ≥ 3.0) as a general guideline.
• Experience or training in high-level languages such as C, C++, C# or Java.
• Experience with data structures or OO design relevant to Garmin's needs.
• Knowledge of positioning algorithms and embedded real-time software development.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to develop software in C, C++, Assembly language, or other selected languages for Garmin's products.
• Learn to test software using debuggers, emulators, simulators, and logic analyzers.
• Learn to perform software releases and quality assurance activities.
• Learn to perform maintenance for products in production and contribute to new product design.
• Integrate with development products to provide feedback as part of normal responsibilities.
