Job summary
SLB is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer of Development to design and implement embedded software for measurement and control systems. You will evaluate methods and tools, define frameworks, and share knowledge with local and global teams.
You will work with multiple processors, real-time data acquisition, DSPs, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust software and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, embedded software or computer science.
- 3+ years of engineering experience in product development, testing or system engineering.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C or C++.
- Experience with programming microcontrollers such as Microchip (dsPIC, SAMD21), TI, NXP, STM32 or ARM M4.
- Experience with embedded software requirements, design architecture and specifications.
- Experience with software version management such as Git, SVN.
- Good team communication.
- Good decision making and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software for measurement and control systems.
- Coordinate software development with other disciplines and engineering projects.
- Design testing procedures, conduct tests, document results and provide corrective actions.
- Create and maintain product documentation and provide technical support to field and customers.
