Job summary

Schlumberger Limited is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement embedded software for measurement and control systems across multiple processors with real-time constraints. The role involves selecting development tools, defining frameworks, and sharing knowledge within the global engineering community.

You will work on high-speed data acquisition, DSP algorithms, and cross-disciplinary coordination, while contributing to design standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, embedded software or computer science.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in product development, testing or system engineering.
• Experience with embedded software requirements, design architecture and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software for measurement and control systems with multiple processors and RTOS.
• Design high-speed, hard-real-time data acquisition and logging systems.
• Implement DSP algorithms and gather/estimate requirements.
• Coordinate software development with other disciplines and engineering projects.
• Create and maintain product documentation; provide technical support to field and customers.
