Job summary

LER TechForce is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a global engineering team. Work can be in Metro Detroit or remote within EST/CST time zones, with the requirement to reside in the United States.

You will design, implement, and test embedded software for power conversion platforms, collaborating across systems, hardware, and product engineering. A Bachelor's in engineering and 5 years of embedded experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline.
• 5 years of embedded software or firmware development experience.
• Programming in Embedded C and/or C++.
• Understanding of RTOS concepts: tasks, scheduling, inter-process communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and release embedded software/firmware for medium-voltage power conversion products.
• Translate system requirements into software architecture and detailed firmware specs.
• Design, implement, and maintain embedded software in RTOS environments.
