Qualifications

• Embedded C development for ARM Cortex-M33 based platforms.
• Bare-metal and RTOS firmware development experience.
• Experience with Z-Wave and sub-GHz wireless protocols.
• Strong debugging and toolchain experience (J-Link, SWD, GDB).
• Secure OTA updates and firmware updates handling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for wireless devices.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for integrated solutions.
• Implement low-power firmware architectures and DMA/timers/UART/SPI/I2C usage.
• Work with Silicon Labs SDKs and Z-Wave stacks; ensure robust RF behavior.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD for firmware.

Description: The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software that operates directly on hardware systems. This role involves working closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of embedded systems.

Job Specific Requirements

The Silicon Labs EFR32 family is ARM Cortex-M33 based, so Cortex-M experience matters directly.
